Kohr's Frozen Custard, the absolute best treat when you hit a boardwalk, in Delaware or NJ. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Smooth and creamy, like ice cream but different!

Great frozen custard - an east coast staple. Kohr Brothers does exactly what the name implies, and they do it well. Friendly employee, good service, decent prices, great location... Obviously good food. There really isn't too much to say about this.

Well I made the pilgrimage to Kohrs! I will admit, I like a custard-based treat over icecream and fro yo anyday so the texture of the custard was amazing. HOWEVER, chocolate and vanilla? And that's it? Boo. Give me more. Make it worth my while. Further, I actually prefer the chain Rita's Custard to Kohrs. So ultimately, it was delicious but I have had better and wouldn't say Kohr's is a requirement on your ocean city vacay.

Favorite Rehoboth Beach place, along with Grotto's and Thrasher's. Hovermale's is better - real soft serve ice cream (in Fort Washington, MD) and Kohr's is the top place at the beach (not real ice cream but pretty good on a hot day at the beach). Get a small one - more than enough! Nothing like a healthy meal - slice of pizza, some fries and a soft serve! Yum. Now where is that bottle of Lipitor!

Best ice cream on the beach! Offer a good range of flavors and combo "twists". Like Chocolate + Vanilla; Vanilla + Orange; Strawberry + Banana; Chocolate + Peanut Butter.

Frozen Custard. Lord Have Mercy! I got the chocolate-vanilla swirl. A small. And still I had enough to share with Mara G. on the bus ride back to the Tanger Outlets to pick up the rest of our crew. But trust me, I wanted this whole thing to myself. It is smooth, thick, sweet, and creamy dreamy delicious. Kohr Brothers Frozen Custard in a cup. This is as good as it gets!

Ok, it's frozen custard, not ice cream. Had to try it, but I don't get the big deal some people make of it, and think it's a subjective thing... it was definitely different, some may like it, some may not. I'm glad I wasn't wild about it, as then I'd wind up with -another- food that I can't find anywhere. But, that's not the point of this review: Rather, I want to point out how astonished I was by the incredibly cheerful and fast service provided by the girls behind the counter. They were -flying-. And smiling. And laughing. And spot-on accurate with my order. "So what?" you ask. But this was on a jam-packed night in the middle of the summer, with a mob of people all of whom were rude, grumpy, pushy, insufferable and ungrateful. I wanted to dress down a few for the way they talked to the staff just on general principles. And yet it was all endured with grace, speed and a smile. It was a marvel to behold. Seriously, be polite, dammit. Say please. Figure out your order _before_ you get to the counter. Know what you and your 6 kids want before you tie up the server. Despite a crush of humanity that would make me want to stomp off in a huff (and I've worked some high-volume service jobs), the girls at this location, on the night I was there, were _incredible_. I don't know if that night was special, or the location, or what, but I wouldn't be surprised to find that was the typical atmosphere. I may never be back (mainly because the whole area is a pale imitation and painful reminder of the amazing beaches in CA and HI), but if I do, I'll be damned sure to get another custard here. So -- go try a custard. Marvel at the friendly smile with which it is served to your tourist self. Spec up a $5.00 cone with the flavors you think you might like and a good dose of sprinkles or a dip in chocolate. Then pay with a $10 bill and leave the change in the tip jar. They deserve it.
